The Little League World Series is going to look a little different this year than it did when teams last met in Williamsport, Pa., in 2019.
For the first time since 1975, the field will consist only of U.S. teams as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Still, this will be a welcome chance for the best teams in the United States to prove their mettle on the national stage. The best teams from across the nation will compete to try and be the first Little League team crowned champioin since 2019, when the Eastbank Little League team from River Ridge, La., won it all.

ESPN will be carrying the Litlte League World Series throughout August, with one of its channels scheduled to air each of the games. Most will be on the main ESPN channel, with a few carried on ESPN2. The two semifinal games and the final game will both be on ABC, as will two other games in the bracket.
